Sonic branding

Sonic branding is to the ear what visual branding is to the eye. It captures the personality and soul of Engineers Australia in a distinctive sound.

Sonic branding assets should be used on all branded content.

Audio Logo

The audio logo reflects the brand’s simplicity: a four‑beat phrase of three descending arpeggios and a final chord. It expresses a core idea of Engineers Australia’s brand – human precision.

Both the HERO and SHORT audio logos should be timed to punctuate the closing brackets of the visual logo across all media.

 

Hero
  • The sound design aligns with the bracket visual, delivering a precise, satisfying close that reflects well‑designed action.
  • This sonic asset should be used at the end of all branded content.
Short

This is sometimes used on socials if there is a time restraint.

Front
  • This is the short audio logo without the click sound effect.
  • It is used with the intro card and is primarily applied to videos hosted on external platforms.

Brand anthem

This sonic asset expresses the Engineers Australia brand through sound, built around the idea of human precision across three stages: problem, solution and resolution.

It should be used across all branded content. Where dialogue is present, it will sit underneath at a reduced level.
Cutdowns

The hero brand anthem is available in 15, 30, 45 and 60‑second cutdowns for social media posts.
